10 Blog Titles that Drive Massive Traffic

We are coming into the home stretch of this round of the Ultimate Blog Challenge and I feel like I’m just getting into the swing of it.  I’ve been having fun with infographics since finding some free resources willing to share them.  This one is about writing effective headlines.  It occurs to me that this would have been a good one to share at the beginning of the challenge.

Writing good headlines has become a real challenge for me lately so this one certainly would have been good for me early on.  Well, as they say, “better late than never” right?  So I hope you find this infographic useful and we can use these tips for the next challenge or even for creating good email headlines.

You say to-may-to and I say to-mah-to….
I find most of those titles trite, and would pass them by…
Instead of “Lessons learned”, I would employ “I should have had a V-8″… you get the idea…

Yes, I do get the idea Roy. Sorry not to answer sooner – I’ve been out of town with no internet access. I love that you always speak your mind. Thank you for reading and leaving your comment.

Great ideas. You hear how important headlines are. I always have trouble finding the right title that sounds interesting but still is about what I wrote about. A work in progress I believe.

Thank you for reading and leaving your comment Shawn. Headlines are important and I’m not that great at writing them either. The best headline I’ve ever used which received a 92% open rate was “Holy Twilight Zone Batman”. Everyone wanted to know what was in there.
