About the Author

Shawn - April 7, 2013

I wish I would of believed in myself enough as a teen-ager to be an entrepreneur. There was no internet back then but I still waited to long to get started in this life. I hope there are kids out there that follow their passion and succeed in doing so.

There is never such a thing as too late Shawn. I am a firm believer that “there is time for everything and everything happens in it’s time.” I could have become an entrepreneur earlier in my life, heaven knows I tried several times to be self-employed, but the timing wasn’t right and I couldn’t make it happen. I needed to be on the career path I was on because every step led me to my life’s purpose and mission and I’m in the perfect place to be doing what I’m doing now.

Thank you for reading and leaving your comment. The teens that said those things are pretty smart kids.

Thank you for leaving a comment Toni. I’m glad you appreciated the quotes. We have some smart teens out there.

    Julia - April 12, 2013

Thank you for adding to this discussion Toni. We do need to empower our youth to develop entrepreneurial skills. It may be their only hope of creating financial independence if the horrible youth unemployment crisis continues.

Mary Pat - April 8, 2013

Chef William - April 8, 2013

Great brain food here. This is almost a book by itself. Glad you got the garden planted. A day working with the earth makes all the rest so much more rewarding.

Thank you Chef. I was tired and need the brain food myself so being the good hostess that I am, I thought it appropriate to share :-). I can’t wait for the real food to pop up from under the dirt. There are lettuce shoots and spinach and different kinds of chilis showing their tips through dirt. It’s making me hungry just thinking about it. Thank you for your continued support.

Teens are often a lot smarter than they get credit for. These quotes are awesome.
